The Wait Is Over – Launching the (Special) Ultra Long Term Stocks!!

Rahul – Sold good stocks he inherited from his father and made huge losses by trading in bad ones. He now wants to leave a rich legacy of good stocks for his children.

Jignesh – Dependent on his stock portfolio for his post retirement life. Suffered big losses due to unnecessary risk taking. He is now waiting for markets to rally to sell his bad stocks. He then plans to invest in just few good stocks and hold them till retirement.

Venkat – His son does not respect him because of his bad luck & stock market losses due to poor stock selection. He wants to regain that respect.

If you can relate to any of the above men whose stories I shared sometime back, then chances are that you are also looking towards heaven or stock market rallies to save your money and stock portfolios.

But if you are true to yourself, you would realize that when you wait for stock market rallies, it indicates that you are trying to control the uncontrollable. Your prayers or wants won’t give you stock market rallies.

It is when you realize that you cannot control the uncontrollable, that you can think about what you can control. And as highlighted by stories of 3 men above, it’s about sticking only to good, stable businesses when investing your heard earned money and be disciplined about it.

It is as simple as that

But having said that….we must remember…

Successful investing is simple but not easy.

And in a small way, I am trying to help you take care of what you can control.

After months of planning and weeks of tireless research, analysis and brainstorming, I am happy to announce that Ultra Long Term Stocks is available especially for you now.

  1. You should give a sample report free of charge – so that people like us know the quality of your research reports before we go ahead and subscribe.

  2. zubin here
Subscribed to the ultra long term stocks dev 🙂
But I assume normal stable investor posts will continue to remain free.

  3. Have subscribed for 6 months but have not received any confirmation. Please check stable investor if you have received payment?

  4. Hi Adil
I am afraid that as of now, I don't have any sample works to share with readers and with those who have already subscribed to the service.
But I have taken note of it and will ensure that same is available next time subscriptions re-open after 30-June. Thanks for raising the point as its beneficial for the potential customers too.

  5. Dear Dev

  6. Hi dev
Congrats for starting Ultra Long Term Stocks.
I have subscribed for 6 months and have already received the first report. And I must say that it is very detailed and beautifully written. It is much more useful than what research houses like ICICI Securities and similar ones issue on a daily basis.
What I like most about it is that you have answered all the relevant questions which as an investor I think need to be answered. Great work and keep it up.
I have had my share of bad days in markets. But after going through your website for last few months and then reading this first report, it seem its better to be a long term investor as it is more relaxed and efficient mode of investing. Atleast now I can sleep peacefully at nights.

  7. Thanks for your kind words Ravi
And I like the two words which you used for long term investing – Relaxed & Efficient. Very few people associate these words with long term investing and I am glad that atleast few of us are actually looking at this form of investing as a viable option for creating long term wealth.

  8. Hi dev. I am glad that you have started this long term stock pick. If one gets into the stock like 10 years or 15 or 25. If there is any change in fundamentals of the stock there are chances that you might drop from the portfolio. But at that point of time whats the guarantee that we customers of yours is gonna hold in to your schemes. Becoz there are chances that we might drop out becoz of varied personal reasons

  9. Hi Avinash

You concern is valid one. When one invests for years, it
means that as an investor, we are placing a ‘faithful’ bet on the company for
next few years. But it is entirely possible that new developments may change
equations & the company may not remain a suitable stock to hold for many
    years.

But having said that, investing for years does not mean that
one can just forget about the company one has invested in. A regular check on fundamentals
and more importantly the validity of prime reasons of investing (originally) need
to be done. And honestly, the onus of keeping oneself updated remains with the actual
    investor.

So I do intend to keep track of validity of stocks being
discussed in every report. But in case one does not subscribe to the report, he
or she may not be able to access these small updates about stocks discussed in previous
reports. For better transparency and to put my money where my mouth is, O will also
disclose whether I hold the stock currently or not.

    Hope that addresses your query.
