I am sure you have noticed something – that at the index Nifty level – In last 10 years, we have had just one negative year!
And that is a remarkable level of wealth creation in last decade. Past performance may not be repeated, but this is something that I wanted to highlight.
From Nifty 4624 on 30-Dec-2011, we have come up to 17,354 on 31-Dec-2021. That’s a CAGR of 14.14% in last 10 years. And if we rewind back 20 years to 31-Dec-2001, then Nifty was at 1059 and we have had a CAGR of almost 15.0% in last 20 years!
Not bad at all. Isn’t it?
