I was recently quoted in Economic Times WEALTH (6-12 June 2022) in the Q&A section where a panel of experts answers readers’ questions related to various aspects of their personal finances. This one was about how to decide whether to take a home loan or liquidate the fixed deposits (and not take a loan) to purchase a house. Taking the loan route also means that the FD can be invested elsewhere for better returns in the long term.
